画面解像度が変更できません

ウィンドウズ自動更新で再起動後なぜか画面解像度が最小値の800*600になっており
変更ができません

どうしたら画面解像度の変更ができますか？

再起動前は適切な解像度に設定できてました PC：Gateway performance 800
モニタ：I-O DATE LCD-A191EB-A
ディスプレイアダプタ：Intel(R)82815 Graphiｃｓ Controller
OS:Windows XP

上記のほかに何か情報が必要でしたら何なりと聞いてください
