Two inputs are supported, permitting a wireless microphone and line input to be used simultaneously.This is the first three-CCD camera-recorder to offer an infrared nighttime photography mode. This makes it possible to capture video (black-and-white) without lights in the pitch dark. The built-in infrared lamp provides illumination of subjects up to 5 meters away. For longer range, the optional infrared lamp (see photo #4) can illuminate subjects up to 30 meters (98 feet).Two independent audio channels allow switching between microphone and line inputs as well as easy level adjustment.
