10 - ENGLISHImportant InformationPrecautions for UseCautions when transportingWhen transporting the projector, hold it securely by its bottom and avoid excessive vibration and impacts. zDoing so may damage the internal parts and result in malfunctions.Do not transport the projector with the adjustable feet extended. Doing so may damage the adjustable feet. zCautions when installingDo not set up the projector outdoors. JThe projector is designed for indoor use only. zDo not use under the following conditions. JPlaces where vibration and impacts occur such as in a car or vehicle: Doing so may damage the internal parts zand result in malfunctions.Near the exhaust of an air conditioner or near lights (studio lamps, etc.) where temperature changes greatly z(Operating environment AEpage 77): Doing so may shorten the life of the lamp or result in deformation of the outer case and malfunctions.Near high-voltage power lines or near motors: Doing so may interfere with the operation of the projector . zDo not install the projector at elevations of 2700 m (8858 ft) or higher above Jsea level.Failure to do so may shorten the life of the internal parts and result in malfunctions.Do not use the projector installed vertically or tilted right or left ( JAEpage 19 ).Using the projector at a vertical angle that exceeds 40° may reduce product life or result in malfunction.
