13 How to assemble your monitor hardwareTo Connect the Composite CableConnect the yellow plug of the Composite cable to the Composite video input on the monitor.Connect the other end of the cable to the Composite port of the video output device.Connect the corresponding audio output of your output device to the AUDIO input terminals (L1/R1) on the monitor using the white and red plugs of the Composite cable. Make sure that the colors of the Audio plugs and the terminals match when making the connection.Connect the other end of the Audio cable to the Audio ports of the video output device.To Connect the S-Video CableConnect the plug of the S-Video cable to the S-Video video input on the monitor.Connect the other end of the cable to the S-Video port of the video output device.Connect the corresponding audio output of your output device to the AUDIO input terminals (L1/R1) on the monitor using a suitable audio cable (or use the Composite cable). The plugs used for audio transmission are in white and red. Make sure that the colors of the Audio plugs and the terminals match when making the connection.Connect the other end of the Audio cable to the Audio ports of the video output device.The video cable included in your package and the socket illustrations on the right may vary depending on the LCD model.3. Connect the audio cable.To Input Audio SignalsConnect the provided audio cable between the socket on the rear of the monitor (Line In) and your computer audio outlet. If the video source is Component, Composite, or S-Video, see:* To Connect the Component Cable on page 12* To Connect the Composite Cable on page 13* To Connect the S-Video Cable on page 13.
