17Safety Precautions/Notes on waterproof, dustproof and shock-resistant propertiesClosing the back coverClose firmly so that the back cover is not raised.① Place the back cover aligning its tabs with the grooves of the product.②Push the back cover in the direction of the arrow.③Press and slide your finger over the circumference of the back cover in the direction of the arrow to firmly attach it.Tabs Grooves② ③ ①• Do not immerse the product inwater with soap, detergent orbath salts init.• Donot immerse the productinseawater,aswimming pool orhot spring.• Donot immerse the productinany liquid (alcohol, etc.) other than water.• Donot place the productdirectlyon sand atabeach, etc. Grains ofsand orother small particles might get into the earpiece, microphone or speaker causing the volume to drop. And if sand gets inside the product from the hinge part, it might cause overheating or a fault.• Donot use the productunderwater.• Donot leave the productinahumid place such as abathroomorkitchen for an extended period of time.Soap, detergent,bath saltsSeawater Pool water Hot spring Sand, mudTips for comfortable use• Once the product gets wet, water may remain in gaps of the product. Shake the product well to drain water. Although you can use the product, do not place it near things that must not get wet. Take care not to wet your clothes, bag or contents of the bag.• Drain water if it becomes temporarily hard to hear the sound due to water remaining in the earpiece or microphone.■Notes on various usage scenes<In the rain>You can make calls holding the product with wet hands in the rain without umbrella.• Therain inthis case means amoderately-heavy rain (less than 20 mm per hour). • Neveropen/close the externalconnection jack cover orback cover ifthe product is exposed to rain, or your hands are wet.<In the shower>You can make calls holding the product with wet hands while taking a shower.• Avoidspraying the productwith high-pressurewater,as the productisnot designed to withstand high water pressure.<Washing>You can wash the product under amild flow (up to6liters per minute) oftap water atroomtemperature(5°C to35°C) atadistance ofabout 10 cm fromthe faucet or showerhead.• Donot spray the productwith high-pressurewater orsubmerge itinwater for extended periods of time, as the product is not designed to withstand high water pressure.• Makesurethat the back cover istightly closed, and holding the externalconnection jack cover so that it does not open, wash the product with your hands. Do not use a brush or sponge.• Donot wash the productinawashing machine orultrasound bath.• Donot splash the productwith orimmerse itinsoap water,detergent water,etc. other than tap water.
