11Driving Position Memory System (If Equipped)nSetting memory positionsPress the SET button, then within 3 seconds pressone of the memory buttons (1, 2, or 3) until youhear a beep.The current position of the seat, as well as theposition of the steering wheel and the outsiderear view mirrors is recorded.nRecalling memory positionsPress one of the memory buttons (1, 2, or 3).nLinking driving position memory with door unlock operationWhile holding down the desired memory button,press and hold the button on the wirelessremote control or door lock switch until you hear abeep.To prevent triggering of the alarm, open one ofthe doors within 180 seconds after the beep isheard.The seats can be returned to a previously set position by simply pressing a button.The position of the steering wheel and the outside rear view mirrors is adjusted along with thedriver's seat.Positions can be conveniently record ed for the vehicle's primary drivers.Linking driving position memory to the door unlock operation allows the memory positionto be recalled automatically when the driver's door is opened. (The linked function does notoperate if the driver's door is unlocked us ing the mechanical key or manually from insidethe vehicle.)
