The mechanical key is stored inside theelectronic key.UnlocksLocksnStarting the engineDepress the brake pedal (for automatic trans-mission) or clutch pedal (for manual transmis-sion).Touch the Lexus emblem side of the electronickey to the "ENGINE START STOP" switch.Press the "ENGINE START STOP" switchwithin 10 seconds of the buzzer, keeping thebrake pedal (for automatic transmission) orclutch pedal (for manual transmission)depressed.12If the electronic key battery becomes depleted , replace it with a new battery.
