More frequent cleaning orreplacement may be required whendriving in dusty conditions, heavy traf-fic areas, urban areas, desertareas ordirt roads. Refer to your Owner'sManualfor service details.Axle Shaft BootsCheck the axle shaft boots andclamps for cracks, deterioration anddamage. Replace any damaged partsand, if necessary, repack the grease.Aqualified technician should performthese operations.Ball Joints and Dust CoversCheck the suspension and steeringlinkage ball joints for looseness anddamage. Check all dust covers fordeterioration and damage. A qualifiedtechnician should perform theseinspections.Body InspectionVisually check for corrosion, scratch-es and other damage. Check outerbody panels, inner panels of the hoodand doors, and underneath the vehi-cle. Apply touch-up paint to any chipsand scratches or have them repairedby a qualified technician.Brake FluidReplace using fluid type specified in your Owner's Manual.Aqualifiedtechnician should perform this operation.Brake Lines and HosesVisually inspect for proper installation.Check for chafing, cracks, deteriora-tion and signs of leakage. Replace any deteriorated or damaged parts.
