07 During your journey Refuelling07299RefuellingOpening/closing the fuel filler flapOpen the fuel filler flap using the button on thelighting panel - the flap opens when the buttonis released.The arrow on the information display'ssymbol reminds which side of the carthe fuel filler cap is located.•Close the fuel filler flap by pressing it in untila click confirms that it is closed.Opening the fuel filler flap manuallyThe fuel filler flap can be opened manuallywhen electric opening from the passengercompartment is not possible.1. Open/remove the side hatch in the cargoarea (same side as fuel filler flap) and locatethe green cord with handle.2. Pull the cord gently straight back until thefuel filler flap folds out with a "click".IMPORTANTPull the wire gently - minimal force isrequired to disengage the hatch lock.Opening/closing the fuel capA certain overpressure may arise in the tank inthe event of high outside temperatures. Openthe cap slowly.•After refuelling - refit the cap and turn ituntil one or more clicking sounds areheard.Filling up with fuel•Do not overfill the tank but fill until thepump nozzle cuts out.NOTEExcess fuel in the tank can overflow in hotweather.
