Then dry with a softcloth.Plastic componentsThese include:▷Headliner.▷Lamp lenses.▷Instrument cluster cover.▷Matte black spray-coated components.Clean with a microfiber cloth.Moisten the cloth lightly and use plasticcleanser, if necessary.Do not soak the headliner.Do not use cleansers that contain alcoholor solventsDo not use cleansers that contain alcohol or sol‐vents, such as lacquer thinners, heavy-dutygrease removers, fuel, or such; this could lead tosurface damage.◀Safety beltsDirty belt straps impede the reeling action andthus have a negative impact on safety.No chemical cleaningDo not clean chemically; this can destroy thewebbing.◀Use only a mild soapy solution, with the safetybelts clipped into their buckles.Do not allow the reels to retract the safety beltsuntil they are dry.Carpets and floor mats*Floor mats can be removed from the passengercompartment for cleaning.If they are very dirty, clean with a microfiber clothand water or an interior cleaner. To prevent mat‐ting of the carpet, rub back and forth in the di‐rection of travel only.Cleaning the interiorWhen cleaning the interior, do not moveboth seats all the way forward while movingthem to their uppermost position and leaningthe backrests forward.
