FCC RF Exposure InformationThis model phone meets the U.S. government’s requirementsfor exposure to radio waves.Your wireless phone contains a radio transmitter and receiver. Yourphone is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emissionlimits for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy set by the FederalCommunications Commission of the U.S. Government. These limitsare part of comprehensive guidelines and establish permitted levelsof RF energy for the general population. The guidelines are based onstandards that were developed by independent scientificorganizations through periodic and thorough evaluation of scientificstudies. The exposure standard for wireless mobile phones employs a unit ofmeasurement known as the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR). The SARlimit set by the FCC is 1.6 W/kg.* Tests for SAR are conducted usingstandard operating positions accepted by the FCC with the phonetransmitting at its highest certified power level in all tested frequencybands. Although the SAR is determined at the highest certified powerlevel, the actual SAR level of the phone while operating can be wellbelow the maximum value. This is because the phone is designed tooperate at multiple power levels so as to use only the power requiredto reach the network. In general, the closer you are to a wirelessbase station antenna, the lower the output. Before a phone model is available for sale to the public, it must betested and certified to the FCC that it does not exceed the limitestablished by the U.S. government-adopted requirement for safeexposure. The tests are performed in various positions and locations(for example, at the ear and worn on the body) as required by FCCfor each model. The highest SAR value for this model phone asreported to the FCC when tested for use at the ear is 0.552 W/kg,and when worn on the body in a holster or carry case, is 1.030 W/kg.(Body-worn measurements differ among phone models, dependingupon available accessories and FCC requirements). While there maybe differences between the SAR levels of various phones and atvarious positions, they all meet the U.S. government requirement. The FCC has granted an Equipment Authorization for this modelphone with all reported SAR levels evaluated as in compliance withthe FCC RF exposure guidelines. SAR information on this modelphone is on file with the FCC and can be found under the DisplayGrant section athttp://www.fcc.gov/oet/ea/fccid/ after search on FCC IDUCE211046A.その他84
