WARNING!If the Transmission Temperature Warning Telltale isilluminated and you continue operating the vehicle,in some circumstances you could cause the fluid toboil over, come in contact with hot engine or exhaustcomponents and cause a fire.•Electric Power Steering MalfunctionThis telltale is on when the Electric PowerSteering is not operating and needs service.Oil Change DueYour vehicle is equipped with an engine oil changeindicator system. The Oil Change Duemessage willdisplay in the EVIC for five seconds after a single chimehas sounded at the start of each ignition that an oilchange is due. The engine oil change indicator system isduty cycle based, which means the engine oil changeinterval may fluctuate dependent upon your personaldriving style.Unless reset, this message will continue to display eachtime you cycle the ignition to the ON/RUN position. Toturn off the message temporarily, press and release theMENU button. To reset the oil change indicator system(after performing the scheduled maintenance), performthe following procedure:1. Without pressing the brake pedal, push the ENGINESTART/STOP button and cycle the ignition to theON/RUN position (Do not start the engine.)2. Fully depress the accelerator pedal, slowly, three timeswithin 10 seconds.3.
