If you want to remove the optical drive while the computer is turned on, double-click the Safely Remove Hardware icon on the taskbar, click the devicethat you want to eject, and click Stop. Otherwise go to step 2.1. Close your display and turn the computer upside down.2. 3.Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the M2.5 x 8-mm screw from the indention labeled with a lock symbol (4.
