FCC RF Exposure InformationThis model phone meets the U.S. government'srequirements for exposure to radio waves.Your wireless phone contains a radio transmitter and receiver.Your phone is designed and manufactured not to exceed theemission limits for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy setby the Federal Communications Commission of the U.S.Government. These limits are part of comprehensive guidelinesand establish permitted levels of RF energy for the generalpopulation. The guidelines are based on standards that weredeveloped by independent scientific organizations throughperiodic and thorough evaluation of scientific studies. The exposure standard for wireless mobile phones employs aunit of measurement known as the Specific Absorption Rate(SAR). The SAR limit set by the FCC is 1.6 W/kg.* Tests for SARare conducted using standard operating positions accepted bythe FCC with the phone transmitting at its highest certifiedpower level in all tested frequency bands. Although the SAR isdetermined at the highest certified power level, the actual SARlevel of the phone while operating can be well below themaximum value. This is because the phone is designed tooperate at multiple power levels so as to use only the powerrequired to reach the network. In general, the closer you are toa wireless base station antenna, the lower the output. Before a phone model is available for sale to the public, it mustbe tested and certified to the FCC that it does not exceed thelimit established by the U.S. government-adopted requirementfor safe exposure. The tests are performed in various positionsand locations (for example, at the ear and worn on the body) asrequired by FCC for each model. The highest SAR value for thismodel phone as reported to the FCC when tested for use at theear is 0.672 W/kg, and when worn on the body in a holster orcarry case, is 0.854 W/kg. (Body-worn measurements differamong phone models, depending upon available accessories andFCC requirements). While there may be differences between theSAR levels of various phones and at various positions, they allmeet the U.S. government requirement. The FCC has granted an Equipment Authorization for this modelphone with all reported SAR levels evaluated as in compliancewith the FCC RF exposure guidelines. SAR information on thismodel phone is on file with the FCC and can be found under the301 付録
