CAUTION: Only a certified service technician should perform repairs on your computer. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell™ is not covered by your warranty. CAUTION: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metalsurface (such as a connector on your computer). Removing the Graphics-Card Fan1. Follow the procedures in Before You Begin.2. Remove the bottom cover (see Removing the Bottom Cover).3. Remove the graphics-card heat sink (see Removing the Graphics-Card Heat Sink).4. Remove the two screws that secure the graphics-card fan to the system board.5. Lift the graphics-card fan out of the computer.1screws (2)2graphics-card fan Replacing the Graphics-Card Fan1.2. Follow the procedures in Before You Begin. Align the screw holes on the graphics-card fan with the screw holes on the system board. Replace the two screws that secure the graphics-card fan tothe system board.3. Replace the graphics-card heat sink (see Replacing the Graphics-Card Heat Sink).4. Replace the bottom cover (see Replacing the Bottom Cover). CAUTION: Before turning on the computer, replace all screws and ensure that no stray screws remain inside the computer. Failure to do so mayresult in damage to the computer.5.
