No soundcomes out of the speakers.Be sure to turn down the volume before connecting or putting onheadphones.SLEEPTurning the Power On and OffTurning the System on ---------------Press the button.The STANDBY lamp goes out.The System comes on ready to play the source it was for when thepower was last turned off.nFor example, if the last thing you were doing was listening to aCD, you are now ready to listen to a CD again. If you wish,you can change to another source.nIf you were listening to the Tuner last, the Tuner comes onplaying the station it was last set to.Turning the System off---------------Press the button again.The STANDBY lamp lights up.nSome power is always consumed even though power is turnedoff (called Standby Mode).nTo switch off the System completely, unplug the AC powercord from the wall outlet.
