Preparing the CamcorderRemoving the Monitor Unit1 Set the Q switch to OFF.2 Disconnect the monitor unit’s cables from the camcorder’s EXT 1 and EXT 2 terminals.• Pull back the metallic tips of the cable to release the cable and then disconnect the cable.353 Unscrew the lock screw and then gently slide out the monitor unit from the accessory shoe.Using the ViewfinderAdjusting the Viewfinder’s Position1 Gently pull out the viewfinder until it stops.2 Raise the viewfinder slightly and pull it out all the way.3 Adjust the viewfinder’s angle as necessary.• The viewfinder unit can be adjusted up to 60º vertically.Attaching and Detaching the Eye CupYPOAttach the eye cup so that it covers the rubber portion of the viewfinderunit.• The dioptric adjustment dial can be operated even with the eye cupattached.• For left eye use, attach the eye cup so that the protruding portion facesthe opposite side.CEye cupViewfinderunitDetach the eye cup as shown in the illustration.
