Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.xxxFCC RF Exposure InformationYour handset is a radio transmitter and receiver.It is designed and manufactured not to exceedthe emission limits for exposure to radiofrequency (RF) energy set by the FederalCommunications Commission of the U.S.Government.The guidelines are based on standards thatwere developed by independent scientificorganization through periodic and thoroughevaluation of scientific studies. The standardsinclude a substantial safety margin designed toassure the safety of all persons, regardless ofage and health.The exposure standard for wireless handsetsemploys a unit of measurement known as theSpecific Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limitset by the FCC is 1.6 W/kg. The tests areperformed in positions and locations (e.g. atthe ear and worn on the body) as required bythe FCC for each model.The highest SAR value for this model handsetas reported to the FCC when tested for use atthe ear is 0.271 W/kg, and when worn on thebody in a holder or carry case, is 0.253 W/kg.Body-worn Operation; This device was testedfor typical body-worn operations with the backof the handset kept 15 mm from the body. Tomaintain compliance with FCC RF exposurerequirements, use accessories that maintain a15 mm separation distance between the user'sbody and the back of the handset. The use ofbeltclips, holsters and similar accessories shouldnot contain metallic components in itsassembly.The use of accessories that do not satisfy theserequirements may not comply with FCC RFexposure requirements, and should be avoided.The FCC has granted an EquipmentAuthorization for this model handset with allreported SAR levels evaluated as in compliancewith the FCC RF emission guidelines.
