Place the batteries with their terminals corresponding to the ⊕ and ⊝ indications. Do not short-circuit batteries. The supplied batteries may have a shorter life expectancy due to storage conditions. Replace them with new ones before they are depleted. Remove the batteries from the remote control, if you will not use it for a long time. The maximum operating range is approximately 5 meters in distance, and 30 degrees in angle against the straight line normal to the remote sensor window, as shown below.Note: The remote control may not work when there is an obstacle between the remote control and the main unit's remote sensor window. As the batteries are depleted, the operating distance will become shorter. Replace them with new ones.
