The operation timechanges according to the ambient temper-ature and vehicle speed.If further defrosting or defogging is de-sired, simply actuate the switch again.When the surface has cleared, push thebutton once again to turn the defogger off.Continuous use may cause the battery todischarge, especially during stop-and-godriving. The defogger is not designed todry rain water or to melt snow.If the outside rear view mirrors are heavilycoated with ice, use a spray de-icer beforeoperating the system.NOTICE When cleaning the inside of therear window, be careful not toscratch or damage the heater wiresor connectors. To prevent the battery from beingdischarged, turn the switch offwhen the engine is not running.(g) Micro dust and pollen filterPush the micro dust and pollen filterbutton.Outside air mode switches to recirculatedair mode. Pollen is removed from the airflows to the upper part of the body.Usually the system will turn off automati-cally after approximately 1 to 3 minutes.To stop the operation, push the micro dustand pollen filter button again.INFORMATIONIn order to prevent the windowfrom fogging up when the outsideair is cold, the following may oc-cur:Outside air mode does notswitch to recirculated air mode.The air conditioning system op-erates automatically.The operation cancels after 1minute.In rainy weather, the windows mayfog up. Push the windshield airflow button.
