質問者が納得ISのFスポーツ（250も350も）は、日立オートモティブシステムズ（旧トキコを吸収合併）のショックを採用しているはずです。
マイナーチェンジ前のIS-Fも日立製でしたので、FスポーツにはIS-Fのマイルド版（ストリートユース版）と考えるとわかりやすいでしょう（更にそのマイルド版が"標準"のISに装着）。
