挿し込むメス側が24Pinならば、ケーブルはどちらを使っても平気ですよ。

質問者が納得GPUによっては、大きなディスプレイにドライバが対応していない場合があります。
対処としては、グラフィックカードを追加して、そちらから出力すると言うのがあります。
