質問者が納得HDMIのほうが便利なんですねー
なぜかというと映像の品質はDVIと一緒ですが音声も一緒に運べるんです。
将来的にDVIしかついてない機種を買ったとしても。DVIとHDMI間には互換性がありますから変換することが可能です。
もちろんDVIをHDMIに変換したからといって音が出るわけではないのですが・・・・。
グラフィックカードを増設してHDMIをパソコンにつけてしまうのもひとつの手だと思いますよ。
とりあえず・・・その問題は大丈夫だと思います！
