詳しくもなにも。
設定ツールいれれば、日本語で設定できますよね。
割り当てできるキーは英語仕様のキーボードのキーだけですが。
設定を一回マウスに転送してしまえば、設定ツールは削除してしまっても可。
ドライバも特に入れる必要はない。
設定するときだけ必要。

質問者が納得正直全く別物
センサー類、ポジティブセルやネガティブセルが出にくい、感度が違う、ボタン数、対応できるマウスパッドや読み取り面。
＋はてかてかのアルミ板の上でもなんとなく動かせるけど＋じゃないのは出来ないし、マウスパッドを使ってもネガティブやポジティブセルが出る。
他にもポテンシャルが違いすぎるんで、悩むならホイールがどーしても嫌いっていうので無ければ＋にすべき。
ドスパラが代理店でドスパラでしか売ってないので、どっちも入手性はかわらないかと。

質問者が納得そのマウスなら自動でドライバをインストールすると思います。
今使ってるマイスを抜いて再起動し、
PCが落ち着いてから新しいマウスのUSBを差し込んで下さい。
少し待ってるとドライバーをインストールしてます とデスクトップ右下に出てくると思いますよ。

質問者が納得実際そのマウスを持ってないので詳しくはわからないのですが、そのレビューの言葉通りなら、マウスボタンの割り当ては設定画面上で選択できるものだけでキーボードを打って直接指定はできないということですね。
ただマクロ機能があるはずですのでマクロの方で指定は出来るんじゃないかな。（ただし押しっぱなしにとかはできないと思いますが）
補足
キーコンフィグを変更しても内部的にはキー位置を見てるわけではないので変更してもダメだと思うな。
これ以上は実際に持ってる方じゃないとわからないと思うので、そういうかたの回答を待っ...

新品でもトラブルはありますよ。故障の可能性があれば、
交換してもらいましょう。

専用のドライバーが適切に設定されて、付属のソフトがきちんと対応していれば
通常は、初期設定で、使用しょうとする機器の初期設定で普通に動作するはずですよね。
ホイールを違うキーに割り当てる？というと、
極端に言えば右クリックのキーなどという意味でしょうか？

補足：
ダウンロードしたファイルを適当なところに解凍してSetup.exeをダブルクリックするとインストールされるはずですが。
