59ENGLISH OPERATION MANUALMD-DS77 (J)TINSJA033AWZZMD-DS77GROUP PLAYBACK (pages 30 - 31)Using MiniDiscs group-recorded with a recorder thatcan perform group recording (Sharp's MD studio, MDportable recorder, etc.), you can select the group ofyour favorite album or artist and play it back.Listening to a group-recorded MD: [If the MD is not registered as your favorite]Insert the group-recorded MD."" appears and the first track in GROUP 1 will beplayed back.Non-grouped tracks will be played after groupedtracks.[If the MD is registered as your favorite]1. Insert the group-recorded MD."MY-entry" will appear and favorite track play-back will start.2.Press the MODE button repeatedly and switch toanother playback mode except "MY" and "MY".To cancel all favorite tracks: 1. Insert a MiniDisc with "favorite tracks".2.Hold down the MODE button on the remote con-trol for 2 seconds or more while in the stop mode.3. Select "MY-DEL" by sliding the button to or on the remote control and press theMODE button.4.Press the MODE button. All favorite tracks onthe MiniDisc are now canceled.F AVORITE TRACK PLAYBACK (pages 28 - 29)You can register up to 10 tracks per MiniDisc as "favorite tracks" which remain in memory even afterremoving the MiniDisc (up to 10 discs).You can also register a playback-only MiniDisc. To register favorite tracks: While a desired track is played back, hold down the button on the remote control for 2 seconds ormore. The track will be registered as your favorite.To play the registered track: [When a favorite registered MD is inserted]When you remove and reinsert the MD, the unit en-ters the "MY" or "MY" mode and then only the fa-vorite tracks will be played back.The unit will enter the favorite track repeat play-back mode if it was in the repeat playback modebefore reinserting the MD.[To switch to the favorite track playback mode]During playback, press the MODE button on theremote control until "MY" or "MY" is displayed.To cancel each of the registered tracks: While a favorite track is played back, hold downthe button on the remote control for 2 sec-onds or more.
