82■Programming HomeLink(R)Hold your hand-held transmitter 1 to 3in. (25 to 75 mm) of the HomeLink(R)buttons.Press and hold down the desiredHomeLink(R) button.For U.S.A. owners:While pressing the HomeLink(R) but-ton, press and hold down the buttonon the hand-held transmitter until theindicator light changes from a slow toa rapid flash.For Canadian owners:While pressing the HomeLink(R) but-ton, repeatedly press and release(cycle) the button on the hand-heldtransmitter every 2 seconds until theindicator light changes from a slow toa rapid flash.If your garage door is of the rolling codetype:Press the training button on the motor-head unit in your garage.Press and hold the vehicle's pro-grammed HomeLink(R) button for 2 sec-onds and release it. Repeat this steponce again.If the door does not open, press andrelease the same button once again.
