341-1. Hybrid systemCT200h_U (OM76040U)Hybrid battery air ventThere is an air intake vent on theside of the rear right seatback forthe purpose of cooling the hybridbattery (traction battery). If thevent become blocked, the hybridbattery may overheat, leading to areduction in hybrid battery output.Emergency shut off system When a certain level of impact is detected by the impact sensor, theemergency shut off system blocks off the high voltage current and stopsthe fuel pump to minimize the risk of electrocution and fuel leakage. If theemergency shut off system activates, your vehicle will not restart. Torestart the hybrid system, contact your Lexus dealer.
