CAUTION: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metalsurface (such as a connector on your computer). Removing the Bottom Cover1. Follow the procedures in Before You Begin.2. Turn the computer over.3. Loosen the two captive screws that secure the bottom cover to the chassis.4. Lift the bottom cover off the computer base.1captive screws (2)2bottom cover Replacing the Bottom Cover1. Follow the procedures in Before You Begin.2. Align the screw holes on the bottom cover with the screw holes on the chassis.3. Tighten the two captive screws that secure the bottom cover to the chassis. CAUTION: Before turning on the computer, replace all screws and ensure that no stray screws remain inside the computer. Failure to do so mayresult in damage to the computer.4.
