FCC RF Exposure InformationThis model phone meets the U.S. government’srequirements for exposure to radio waves.Your wireless phone contains a radio transmitter and receiver.Your phone is designed and manufactured not to exceed theemission limits for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy set bythe Federal Communications Commission of the U.S. Government. These limits are part of comprehensive guidelines and establishpermitted levels of RF energy for the general population. Theguidelines are based on standards that were developed byindependent scientific organizations through periodic andthorough evaluation of scientific studies. The exposure standard for wireless mobile phones employs a unitof measurement known as the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR).The SAR limit set by the FCC is 1.6 W/kg.* Tests for SAR areconducted using standard operating positions accepted by the FCCwith the phone transmitting at its highest certified power level inall tested frequency bands. Although the SAR is determined at thehighest certified power level, the actual SAR level of the phonewhile operating can be well below the maximum value. This isbecause the phone is designed to operate at multiple power levelsso as to use only the power required to reach the network. Ingeneral, the closer you are to a wireless base station antenna, thelower the output. Before a phone model is available for sale to the public, it must betested and certified to the FCC that it does not exceed the limitestablished by the U.S. government-adopted requirement for safeexposure. The tests are performed in various positions andlocations (for example, at the ear and worn on the body) asrequired by FCC for each model. The highest SAR value for thismodel phone as reported to the FCC when tested for use at theear is 0.630 W/kg, and when worn on the body in a holster orcarry case, is 0.897 W/kg. (Body-worn measurements differamong phone models, depending upon available accessories andFCC requirements). While there may be differences between theSAR levels of various phones and at various positions, they allmeet the U.S. government requirement. The FCC has granted an Equipment Authorization for this modelphone with all reported SAR levels evaluated as in compliance withthe FCC RF exposure guidelines. SAR information on this modelphone is on file with the FCC and can be found under the DisplayGrant section athttp://www.fcc.gov/oet/ea/fccid/ after search on FCC IDUCE211042A.For body worn operation, this phone has been tested and meetsthe FCC RF exposure guidelines when used with an accessorydesignated for this product or when used with an accessory thatcontains no metal and that positions the handset a minimum of1.0 cm from the body.*In the United States, the SAR limit for wireless mobilephones used by the public is 1.6 watts/kg (W/kg) averagedover one gram of tissue. SAR values may vary dependingupon national reporting requirements and the networkband.Important Safety InformationAircraftSwitch off your mobile phone when boarding an aircraft orwhenever you are instructed to do so by airline staff. If yourmobile phone offers a ‘flight mode’ or similar feature consultairline staff as to whether it can be used on board.DrivingFull attention should be given to driving at all times and local lawsand regulations restricting the use of mobile phones while drivingmust be observed.その他77
