LAMP REPLACE and WARNING IndicatorsENGLISH - 59MaintenanceLAMP REPLACE and WARNING IndicatorsManaging the indicated problemsIf a problem should occur inside the projector, the <POWER>, <LAMP REPLACE> and/or <WARNING> indicators will inform you. Manage the indicated problems as follow.CAUTIONBefore you take a remedial measure, follow the procedure of switching the power of f indicated in “Turning off the projector”. z(AEpage 28)If multiple indicators light or blink, verify the status of the projector by looking at each indicator . zNoteConirm the status of the power indicated on the <POWER> indicator . z JLAMP REPLACE indicatorIndicatorLighting in yellowStatusThe projection lamp reaches its end of life.CheckIs there a Lamp replacement icon appears on the screen?RemedyReplace the lamp unit. (AEpage 63)NoteContact your dealer for repair services when <LAMP REPLACE> indicator persists to light after taking these zmeasurements. JWARNING indicatorIndicatorLights in red. Blinks in red.StatusThe projector detects an abnormal condition and cannot be turned on. The temperature inside the projector is abnormally high. The projector cannot be turned on. And the <POWER> indicator also blinks in red.CheckUnplug the AC power cord and plug it again to turn on the projector. - Did you provide appropriate space for the projector to be ventilated? Check the installing condition to see if the air vents of the projector are not blocked.- Has the projector been installed near an Air- Conditioning/ Heating Duct or Vent? - Are the ilters clean? RemedyIf the projector is turned off again, unplug the AC power cord and contact the dealer or the service center for service and checkup. - Provide good installing condition to your projector.- Move the installation of the projector away from the duct or vent.- Replace ilters.NoteIf <WARNING> indicator persists to light or blink after taking these measurements, please contact your dealer for repair zservices. Do not leave the projector on. It may cause an electric shock or a ire hazard.The projector detects an abnormal condition and cannot be turned on.
