23■Selecting a driving modeThe following modes can be select ed to suit driving conditions:Normal modeEco drive modeThe torque generated in response toaccelerator pedal depression will lessencompared to normal, and air condition-ing operation (heating/cooling) will berestrained, thus suiting driving withimproved fuel efficiency.When the driving mode select switch isturned left, the "ECO MODE" indicatorcomes on in the instrument cluster.Press the switch to change the drivingmode to normal mode.Sport modeUse when high levels of response andfeeling are desirable, such as when driv-ing in mountainous regions or whenovertaking.When the driving mode select switch isturned right, the "SPORT MODE" indi-cator comes on in the instrument cluster.Press the switch to change the drivingmode to normal mode.
