621-3. Opening, closing and locking the doorsCT200h_U (OM76004U)nOperation signalsDoors: A buzzer sounds and the emergency flashers flash to indicate that the doors have been locked/unlocked. (Locked: Once; Unlocked: Twice)Windows: A buzzer sounds to indi cate that the windows are opening.nDoor lock buzzerIf an attempt to lock the doors is made when a door is not fully closed, a buzzer sounds continuously for 10 seconds. Full y close the door to stop the buzzer, and lock the vehicle once more.nPanic modenSecurity featureIf a door is not opened within approx imately 60 seconds after the vehicle is unlocked, the security feature automatically locks the vehicle again.nAlarmUsing the wireless remote control to lock the doors will set the alarm system. (→P. 113)When is pressed for longer than about one second, an alarm will sound intermit-tently and the vehicle lights will flash to deter any person from trying to break into or dam-age your vehicle.To stop the alarm, press any button on the electronic key.
