Opening, closing and locking the doors and trunk1Before drivingGS_G_U (OM30C80U)June 29, 2011 10:21 am■Trunk easy closerIn the event that the trunk lid is left slig htly open (not latched properly), the trunk easy closer will automatically close it to the fully closed position. ■Trunk lightWhen the trunk light switch is set to ON, the trunk light turns on when the trunk is opened. ■Trunk handle■Internal trunk release lever■Using the mechanical keyThe trunk can be also opened using the mechanical key. (→ P. 571)ONOFFUse the trunk handle when closing the trunk. The trunk lid can be opened by pulling down on the glow-in-the-dark lever located on the inside of the trunk lid.The lever will continue to glow for some time after the trunk lid is closed.
