5When trouble arises4535-2. Steps to take in an emergencynIf the malfunction indicator lamp comes on while drivingFirst check the following:lIs your vehicle low on gas? If it is, refuel the vehicle immediately.lIs the fuel tank cap loose? If it is, tighten it securely.The light will go off after taking several driving trips. If the light does not go off even after several trips, contact your Lexus dealer as soon as possible.nSRS warning lightThis warning light system monitors the following:lThe airbag sensor assemblylFront airbag sensorslThe curtain shield airbag sensorslThe side and curtain shield airbag sensor assemblieslThe driver's seat position sensorlDriver's seat belt buckle switchlThe front passenger occupant classification ECUlThe pressure sensorlThe belt tension sensorlAIRBAG ON and AIRBAG OFF indicator lightslFront passenger's seat belt buckle switchlThe inflatorslThe warning lightlThe interconnecting wiring and power sourcesnFront passenger detection sensor and passenger seat belt reminderIf luggage is placed on the front passenger seat, the front passenger detection sen -sor may cause the warning light to flash, even if a passenger is not sitting in the seat.
