Opening and closing the windows and moon roof1Before driving■The moon roof can be operated whenThe "ENGINE START STOP" switch is in IGNITION ON mode. ■Moon roof open warning buzzerThe buzzer sounds and a message is shown on the multi-information display in theinstrument panel when the "ENGINE STAR T STOP" switch is turned OFF and thedriver's door is opened with the moon roof open.■Door lock linked moon roof operationThe moon roof can be opened and cl osed using the mechanical key. ( →P. 496)■Operating the moon roof after turning the "ENGINE START STOP" switch OFFThe moon roof can be operated for ap proximately 45 seconds even after the"ENGINE START STOP" switch is switched to ACCESSORY mode or turnedOFF. It cannot, however, be operated once either front door is opened. ■Jam protection functionIf an object is detected between the moon roof and the frame while closing or tiltingdown, travel is stopped and the moon roof opens slightly.■To reduce moon roof wind noiseWhen the moon roof is opened automatically, it will stop slightly before the fullyopen position. Driving with the moon roof in this position can help reduce windnoise.■SunshadeThe sunshade can be opened and closed manually. However, the sunshade willopen automatically when the moon roof is opened.
