Steps to take in an emergencyIf the electronic key does not operate properlyLocking and unlocking the doors, unlocking the trunk and key linked functionsUse the mechanical key built in to th e electronic keys to operate thedoors. (→P. 29)DoorsRemove the cover on the driver'sdoor handle. Locks all the doorsCloses the windows and moonroof (turn and hold)Unlocks the doorTurning the key rearward unlocksthe driver's door. Turning the keyonce again unlocks the otherdoors.Opens the windows and moonroof (turn and hold)If communication between the electron ic key and vehicle is interrupted(→P. 37) or the electronic key canno t be used because the battery isdepleted, the smart access system with push-button start and wirelessremote control cannot be used. In su ch cases, the doors and trunk can beopened or the engine can be started by following the procedure below.STEP 1STEP 2
