Daytime running lights are not designed for use at night.nHeadlight control sensornAutomatic light off systemThe headlights and tail lights turn off 30 seconds after a door is opened or closed ifthe engine switch has been switched to ACC or turned OFF while the headlightsare turned on. (The light turns off immediately if the button on the key ispressed after all doors are locked.)To turn the lights on again, switch to IG-ON mode, or turn the light switch OFFonce and then back to the or position. The sensor may not function properly if anobject is placed on the sensor, or anythingthat blocks the sensor is affixed to the wind-shield. Doing so interferes with the sensor detectingthe level of ambient light and may cause theautomatic headlight system to malfunction.
