When pushed back, the seatwill automatically return to its originalset position. Pull the inside handle upto adjust the angle of the front seatfor comfort.9. HEIGHT ADJUSTMENTThe adjustment lever is pumped upand down like a ratchet to adjustthe seat height. Be sure not to usethis lever when trying to slide theseat forward and back. There’s aseparate handle for that locatedunder the seat on the opposite side.For a better understanding, see theowner’s manual. 8. BOOT AND BONNETIn keeping with MINI heritage, we often refer to the hood as the “bonnet”and the trunk as the “boot.”(see #7)MINIUSA.COM7. BONNET RELEASEThe “pop-the-hood”latch islocated on the passenger sideunder the dashboard and glovecompartment. Why? Well, thecar is built in England, after all.6. FLAT TIRE MONITOR BUTTONThere’s a small curious button located underthe hand brake. It’s the Flat Tire Monitor resetbutton. Check out the manual for proper useand setting. And then hopefully you won’t belooking for this button again anytime soon.
