Safety, use, and care information̈Service and upgradesAlways observe the following precauti ons to reduce the risk of injuryand property damage.Attention: Do not attempt to service a product yourself unless instructed to do soby the Customer Support Center or your documentation. Only use aservice provider who is approved to repair your particular product.Note:Some computer parts can be upgrad ed or replaced by the customer.Upgrades typically are referred to as options. Replacement partsapproved for customer installati on are referred to as CustomerReplaceable Units, or CRUs. Lenovo provides documentation withinstructions when it is appropriate for customers to install options orreplace CRUs. You must closely follow all instructions when installingor replacing parts. The Off stat e of a power indicator does notnecessarily mean that voltage levels inside a product are zero. Beforeyou remove the covers from a product equipped with an ac powercord, always make sure that the power is turned off and that theproduct is unplugged from any power source. For more informationon CRUs, See "Appendix B. Custom er Replaceable Units (CRUs)" onpage 126. If you have any question s or concerns, contact the CustomerSupport Center.Although there are no moving parts in your computer after the powercord has been disconnected, the fo llowing warnings are required foryour safety.
