- 23 -Setup: Connecting the SCSI CableSCSI devices cannot be connected while the power is on.Before connecting the scanner to the SCSI chain, be sure thatthe computer and all other devices in the chain, including thescanner, are off. How the scanner should be connected to thechain depends on whether it is to be located between otherdevices or attached at the end of the chain.When the scanner is the last device in the chainSet the terminator switch on the rear of the scanner to ON.TERMINATOROFF ONConnect the SCSI cable to either of the two SCSI connectorson the rear of the scanner.MADE IN JAPAN100098SCSI SCSISCSI NBTERMINATOROFF ON65432107Connect the other end of the cable to the next device in thechain.
