Failure to do so may result in death or seriousinjury.●Do not fold the seatbacks down while driving.●Stop the vehicle on level ground, set the parking brake and shift the shift positionto P.●Do not allow anyone to sit on a folded seatback or in the luggage compartmentwhile driving.●Do not allow children to enter the luggage compartment.■When returning the rear seatback to the upright positionDo not put your hand on the seat belt guide. Doing so may cause you to trap your hand between the guide and the pillar, causingan injury.■After returning the rear seatback to the upright positionObserve the following precautions. Failure to do so may result in death or seriousinjury.●Check that the seat belts are not tw isted or caught in the seatback.●Make sure that the seatback is securelylocked in position by lightly pushing it backand forth.If the seatback is not securely locked, thered marking will be visible behind the seat-back lock release lever. Make sure that thered marking is not visible.
