Opening, closing and locking the doors1Before drivingCT200h_OM_OM76066U_(U)■Operation signalsDoors: A buzzer sounds and the emergency flashers flash to indicate that thedoors have been locked/unlocked. (Locked: Once; Unlocked: Twice)Windows: A buzzer sounds to indi cate that the windows are opening.■Door lock buzzerIf an attempt to lock the doors is made when a door is not fully closed, a buzzersounds continuously for 10 seconds. Full y close the door to stop the buzzer, andlock the vehicle once more.■Panic mode■Security featureIf a door is not opened within approx imately 60 seconds after the vehicle isunlocked, the security feature automatically locks the vehicle again.■Alarm (if equipped)Using the wireless remote control to lock the doors will set the alarm system. (→P. 121)When is pressed for longer than aboutone second, an alarm will sound intermit-tently and the vehicle lights will flash to deterany person from trying to break into or dam-age your vehicle.To stop the alarm, press any button on theelectronic key.
