Opening, closing and locking the doorsCT200h_OM_OM76066U_(U)■When the door cannot be locked by the lock sensor on the upper part of the doorhandle■Alarms and warning messagesA combination of exterior and interior al arms as well as warning messages shownon the multi-information display are used to prevent theft of the vehicle and acci-dents resulting from erroneous operation. Take appropriate measures in responseto any warning message on the multi-information display. ( →P. 620)The following table describes circumstances and correction procedures when onlyalarms are sounded. If the door will not lock even when the topsidesensor area is touched, try touching both thetopside and underside sensor areas at thesame time.Alarm Situation Correction procedureExterior alarm sounds once for 10 secondsAn attempt was made to lock the vehicle while a door was open.Close all of the doors and lock the doors again.Interior alarm pings repeatedlyThe "POWER" switch was turned to ACCESSORY mode while the driver's door was open (The driver's door was opened when the "POWER" switch was in ACCESSORY mode).Turn the "POWER" switch off and close the driver's door.
