Other interior features3Interior featuresSafety Connect LED light IndicatorsWhen the "ENGINE START STOP" swit ch is turned to IGNITION ONmode, the red indicator light comes on for 2 seconds then turns off.Afterward, the green indicator light comes on, indicating that the serviceis active.The following indicator light patterns indicate specific system usage con-ditions:lGreen indicator light on = Active servicelGreen indicator light flashing = Safety Connect call in processlRed indicator light (except at vehicle start-up) = System malfunction(contact your Lexus dealer)lNo indicator light (off) = Safety Connect service not activeSafety Connect servicesnAutomatic Collision NotificationIn case of either airbag deployment or severe rear-end collision, thesystem is designed to automatically call the response center. Theresponding agent receives the vehicl e's location and attempts to speakwith the vehicle occupants to asse ss the level of emergency. If theoccupants are unable to communica te, the agent automatically treatsthe call as an emergency, contacts the nearest emergency servicesprovider to describe the situation, and requests that assistance be sentto the location.
