Opening, closing and locking the doors and trunk1Before drivingnSetting and canceling the functionsTo switch between setting and canceling, follow the procedure below:Close all the doors and switch the "ENGINE START STOP"switch to IGNITION ON mode. (Perform the step 2 within 10seconds.)Shift the shift lever to P or N, andpress and hold the driver's doorlock switch ( or ) for approxi-mately 5 seconds and thenrelease.The shift lever and switch positionscorresponding to the desired func-tion to be set or canceled areshown as follows.*: Vehicles with an automatic transmission onlyWhen the setting or canceling operat ion is complete, all doors are lockedand then unlocked.STEP 1STEP 2Function Shift lever position Switch positionShift position linked door locking function*PShift position linked door unlock-ing function*Speed linked door locking functionNDriver's door linked door unlocking function
