EXPLANATION OF MAINTENANCE ITEMSMAINTENANCEScheduled Maintenance Log72Timing ChainThetimingchainrequiresnoperiodicinspection.Tire RotationSeeyourOwner'sManualfortirerotationrequirements.Checktirepressureandchecktiresfordamageandunevenwear.Ifthevehicleisequippedwithasparetire,checktheconditionandpressureofthespare.Tire-Pressure Warning SensorsAtire-pressuresensorismountedoneachfull-sizewheel.Thesesensorsdonotrequireperiodicmaintenance.Whenasensor'slong-lifelithiumbat-terybecomesdischarged,thebatteryshouldbereplacedbyaqualifiedtechnicianfollowingproceduresinLexusserviceandrepairpublications.Transfer Case OilCheckforcorrectoillevelandinspecteachcomponentforsignsofleakage.Ifyoudiscoveranyleakage,haveitrepairedimmediatelybyaqualifiedtechnician.Forcorrectoil,refertoyourOwner'sManual.TransmissionThetransmissionandtransmissionfluidareacompletelysealedunit.Therefore,periodicchecksandreplacementofthetransmissionfluidarenotrequired,andthereisnodipstickonthetransmission.AnyrepairsthatrequireaddingorreplacingfluidshouldbeperformedbyaqualifiedtechnicianfollowingproceduresinLexusserviceandrepairpublications.
