Terminals, refer to Jump starting, page 97.Battery disposalAfter changing a batte ry, have the used battery disposed of by your BMW center or bring it to a recyclin g point. Maintain the bat-tery in an upright position for transport and stor-age. Secure the battery against tilting when transporting.<Power lossAfter a temporary power loss, e.g. due to a dis-charged battery, some equipment will be lim-ited in its use and must be reinitialized.
