Safety information1Before drivingCT200h_OM_OM76066U_(U)CAUTION■SRS airbag precautions●If breathing becomes diffic ult after the SRS airbags have deployed, open a dooror window to allow fresh air in, or leave the vehicle if it is safe to do so. Wash offany residue as soon as possible to prevent skin irritation. ●If the areas where the SRS airbags are stored, such as the steering wheel pad andfront and rear pillar garnishes, are dama ged or cracked, have them replaced byyour Lexus dealer.●Do not place anything, such as a cushion, on the front passenger's seat. Doing sowill disperse the passenger's weight, wh ich prevents the sensor from detectingthe passenger's weight properly. As a result, the SRS front airbags for the frontpassenger may not deploy in the event of a collision.■Modification and disposal of SRS airbag system componentsDo not dispose of your vehicle or perfor m any of the following modifications with-out consulting your Lexus dealer. The SRS airbags may malfunction or deploy (inflate) accidentally, causing death orserious injury.●Installation, removal, disassembly and repair of the SRS airbags●Repairs, modifications, removal or replace ment of the steering wheel, instrumentpanel, dashboard, seats or seat upholstery, front, side and rear pillars or roof siderails●Repairs or modifications of the front fend er, front bumper, or side of the occupantcompartment●Installation of snow plows, winches, etc. to the front grille (bull bars or kangaroobar etc.)●Modifications to the vehicle's suspension system●Installation of electronic devices such as mobile two-way radios and CD players●Modifications to your vehicle for a person with a physical disability
