2372-4. Using other driving systems2When drivingCT200h_U (OM76040U)Selecting conventional constant speed control modeConstant speed control mode differs from vehicle-to-vehicle distancecontrol mode. When constant speed control mode is selected, your vehi-cle will maintain a set speed regardless of whether or not there are othervehicles in the lane ahead.Press the "ON-OFF" button toactivate the cruise control.Press the button again to deacti-vate the cruise control.Switch to constant speed con-trol mode.(Push the lever forward andhold for approximately one sec-ond.)Cruise control indicator will comeon.When in constant speed controlmode, to return to vehicle-to-vehi-cle distance control mode, pushthe lever forward again and holdfor approximately 1 second. After the desired speed has beenset, it is not possible to return tovehicle-to-vehicle distance controlmode. If the "POWER" switch is turnedoff and then turned to ON modeagain, the vehicle will automaticallyreturn to vehicle-to-vehicle dis-tance control mode.Adjusting the speed setting:→P. 231Canceling and resuming the speedsetting: →P. 233
