Safety information1Before drivingCT200h_U (OM76040U)Child restraint systems with a top tether strapSecure the child restraint systemusing the seat belt or the LATCHanchors, press the lock releasebutton, and raise the headrestraint.Open the anchor bracket cover,latch the hook onto the anchorbracket and tighten the top tetherstrap.Make sure the top tether strap issecurely latched. Outside only: Adjust the headrestraint to the downmost position.STEP 1STEP 2STEP 3■Laws and regulations pertaining to anchorsThe LATCH system conforms to FMVSS225 or CMVSS210.2.Child restraint systems conforming to FMVSS213 or CMVSS213 specificationscan be used.This vehicle is designed to conform to the SAE J1819.
